CAUTION: The chemical, physical, and toxicological properties of this product have not been thoroughly investigated. Exercise due care. Bio 1673 is non-irritating based on single dose dermal irritation studies on albino rabbits. Bio 1673 is slightly irritating based on primary occular irritation potential (Draize) tests on New Zealand White rabbits. All irritation was reversible and completely subsided on or before day 3 post-instillation. Results of Salmonella typhimurium/Escherichia coli Plate Incorporation Mutation Assay showed there was no toxicity observed up to a concentration of 2700 ug/plate. Bio 1673 was negative in this test. Bio 1673 was negative in activated and non-activated systems tested in the Chromosome Aberration Assay in human peripheral blood lymphocytes.
